Charitable photography for world-wide non-profit endeavors.

We’re proud to announce that the 2012 field assignment in Guatemala for Friendship Bridge is finished! The map below shows the area that freelance photographer Ben Rasmussen and Julie Malmberg of the Denver based NGO, Friendship Bridge, traveled during the shoot from March 19th to the 23rd in the highlands of central Guatemala. Each of the pinpoints shows the location of their day to day travels, which in combination with blog entries from Julie and Ben, tell the story of their assignment from the field. To view a gallery of Ben’s images click the PROJECTS link at the top of the page.

About Project Exposure

Project Exposure is a nonprofit organization dedicated to funding and promoting photography projects around the globe through our grant making and public outreach initiatives.

The primary focus of Project Exposure is to create an opportunity for non-profits and photographers from the same community to collaborate on projects worldwide. To achieve this, we rely on community and corporate funding to facilitate this essential connection between charitable work and professional photography. The funds that we receive are given as grants to non profits who in turn use the funds to pay travel expenses for photographers willing to work pro-bono documenting the work of the NGO outside the United States. By harnessing the power of photography and photographers we can raise awareness of the work of the non-profit, the talents of the photographer and the mission of Project Exposure as well as give rise to a self sustaining collaboration between the photographer and the nonprofit. In addition, Project Exposure funds and creates public outreach programs featuring the work of our photographers as well photographers who are working in the spirit of our mission.

Photographer Tim Ryan created Project Exposure from his own first hand experiences working internationally for non profit organizations. For more information please contact Tim Ryan at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
